Fashion addicts have had today’s date in their diary for months. Not because it’s fireworks night, but because the Balmain x H&M collection landed in shops this morning.
The collection’s pieces, predicted to sell out within 30 minutes, no doubt disappeared off the shelves before most people even stepped foot in the shop, but some savvy shoppers who queued up outside H&M stores all night to grab as much merchandise as possible are already cashing in on the highly-anticipated collaboration.
They’ve listed their buys on eBay and are already racking up bids well beyond the RRP.

One eBayer has listed the famed green sequined dress that Kendal Jenner donned in a number of the campaign shots and videos for £199.99 – despite costing just £119.99 in shops.
But no doubt people will clamber to pay over the odds for the collection.

Another savvy seller is listing the gold and black embellished dress, as worn by Kylie Jenner, for a jaw-dropping £700.
Considering it cost £299.99 in store, the seller is looking to make a pretty penny.

The collection may look identical to clothes Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing has already created, but let’s hope the quality is just as good.
After all, this is a collaboration with an affordable high street shops, so expecting H&M customers to shell out hundreds of pounds on a dress/jacket/top is a big ask.

Whether it’s a designer partnership or not, spending over £100 on an item from H&M is pretty outrageous, but thanks to the likes of Kendall, Kylie, Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn looking so damn good in the range it’s hard not to be tempted to splash the cash – if you’ve got it.
